A select group of students participating in Models 2015 Ottawa will be given free registration in return for volunteering to help the organizing team for about 12 hours in various blocks sometime between Sept 26 and Oct 2, 2015.

Volunteer tasks would include:

• Helping prepare registration packs
• Helping at the registration desk
• Helping put up signs
• Helping attendees find session rooms
• Verifying those in sessions are registered
• Helping ensure each session runs smoothly
• Walking around with a microphone to help attendees ask questions
• Generally helping the organizing team

Priority will be given to students presenting main-conference papers. Please note that we cannot accept all applications.

This program does not cover transportation or accommodation costs, only conference registration. Student volunteers will need to rely on their own resources for accommodation and transportation. Sources of these funds might include their research supervisor, or their own university.
